Clock Buffer Adapter

This adapter re-buffers the SPI clock signal from an XJLink-FE18 programming engine in order to increase its drive strength, allowing it to drive stronger termination and meet the voltage input level requirements of the flash device’s clock input.

The adapter is designed to connect to a programming engine via the XJA-0006 adapter board supplied with the XJLink-FE18. All other signals are passed through unchanged.

Suitable for flash devices using 50 Ohm termination biased to mid-rail, but may also be used with other designs that employ strong clock termination. This type of termination is commonly found on high-speed boards where the flash clock must be driven at very high frequencies.
