XJExpress Change Log
This document lists the main changes in each minor release of XJExpress.
Version 1.4
Released 30 January 2026
- Support parallel programming of two flash devices.
- Added undo/redo commands to the project screen.
- Enable the physical Run button on the XJLink-FE18.
- Indicate red/yellow/green programming status in the UI and on the XJLink-FE18 LEDs.
- Remember the check state of individual steps in the workflow.
- Added global F1 shortcut to open the help.
Version 1.3
Released 8 January 2026
- Allow devices to be powered via the XJLink.
- Fix crash selecting file type in programming files grid.
- Allow removing programming files by pressing delete key.
Version 1.2
Released 11 December 2025
- Added ability to create and run read-only deployment (.xjexpd) projects. A deployment project is fully self-contained including all programming data, prevents settings from being changed and only allows the full workflow to be run.
- Sign installer.
- Add Request New Part button to the Help menu.
Version 1.1
Released 12 November 2025
- Support devices which require non-standard sector erase commands.
- Automatically detect a greater range of file types based on extensions.
- Added user feedback form.
- Added button to request support for a new part.
- Fix issue where the run controls could disappear after resizing the window.
- Fix issue where Read Flash to File could append to an existing file rather than replacing it.
- XJLink display now refreshes immediately without needing to reopen the project.
- Ensure installer always closes XJLink Manager, avoiding need to reboot.
- Reduce size of installer and installed binaries by removing several third party dependencies.
