Software Updates

4.1.5 is the most recent release of XJTAG.

Before downloading this version of XJTAG, read the Release Notes to see what has changed in version 4.1 and the Change Log for more details about this specific release.

Windows (x64)

If you require an older version of XJTAG or a 32-bit version for a specific integration, other downloads are available in the download archive.

While all versions of the software are available to download you can only use those which were released before your maintenance expiry date – this date can be seen in the XJLink manager when you have your XJLink connected to your PC.

System Requirements

We recommend Windows 11 (x64) to run the current version of XJTAG. Windows 10 (1607 Anniversary Update or later, either x64 or x86) is also currently supported.

Customising installation from the command-line

The XJTAG setup program has a number of command-line switches that enable some customisation and automation from the command-line.

Installing on machines without internet access

XJTAG has a number of prerequisites that need to be installed the first time that XJTAG is installed on a machine. Typically, the XJTAG installer will download and install these as needed. To support installation on machines without internet access, an ISO image is available for download. This contains all the necessary prerequisites, without any need for additional downloads from the internet.

Download the image and burn it to a USB drive, CD or DVD, which can then be used to install XJTAG version 4.1.5.

Support for older versions

In general, only the current version of XJTAG is supported. If you contact XJTAG support with a support request about an older version of XJTAG, you may be asked to upgrade to the current version before we can continue to resolve your issue.

XJLink Driver

The XJLink Driver is typically installed as part of the main XJTAG installation, but if you need to install it separately the driver is available as a separate download:

XJEase Library

The XJEase Library is included as part of the XJDeveloper installation, but is updated independently. The best way to upgrade it is to check for updates inside XJDeveloper and allow it to download and install it. If you want to upgrade the library on a machine that is not connected to the internet, then you can download it here:
