XJTAG is a world-leading developer of electronics testing products. We started with JTAG boundary scan systems, and have grown to provide a range of in-circuit-test, debugging and programming solutions to our customers all over the world.

We are looking for a customer-facing engineer to join XJTAG’s rapidly growing engineering team where you will take responsibility for supporting our existing and potential customers through their steps to success with our products. To do this you will have an excellent understanding of electronics testing, our products and how to manage and solve customer problems. As in any small business, you will get involved in a wide range of tasks, often not strictly ‘in the job description’ to help and support the whole business.

Your success will be seen in your expertise in our technology ability to manage complex customer projects and their expectations. In your work, you will demonstrate our empathetic & supportive, straightforward, innovative and committed values and support others in doing so.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical presentations, training and demonstrations tailored to their audience which showcase our products features and benefits
  • Understand complex and varied customer requirements and develop applications requiring significant design effort to solve them, culminating in a successful sale to our customers
  • Collect and analyse feedback and ideas from customers proactively use it to support and improve other areas of the business
  • Communicate clearly, manage expectations and resolve issues both for new and existing customers

Requirements

  • Experience of developing applications involving FPGAs, embedded software and device drivers
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to apply that to both engineering and business problems
  • Experience of training and supporting others, and adaptability to cultural and language barriers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication reflecting our way of doing business
  • Knowledge of electronics technologies and trends as well as different testing methodologies
  • Ability to manage customer projects and manage customer expectations to match
  • Experience of CRMs, processes and tools to track and manage potential sales
  • Permission to work in the UK
